Take a Peek at Next Week: February 22-26 

History ~ 

We will finish up Chapter 6 Contact: East Meets West on Tuesday with a test.

Science ~ 

We will begin Chapter 7 Parts of Ecosystems on Wednesday.

Language ~

We are working on Unit 3 Verb Tenses: Past, Present and Future.

Math ~

We will continue working on multiplication of multi-digit numbers.  Keep practicing!

Spelling ~

Challenge words are: fiery, smoldering, inflammable, miniature, and
invigorating

Bible Verse:  Psalm 46:1 "God is our protection and our strength.  He always helps in times of trouble." 
Reading ~ 
Our story this week is "Fire!" We are looking forward to finding out about all that firemen need and do and how firefighting has changed over the years.

      ~ Language Test 

      ~ Atlanta field trip forms and money are due

      ~ Children should bring their Valentines

      ~ Signed Papers will go home on Wednesday. Progress Reports are included. Both should be signed and returned on Thursday.  No papers will be sent home on Friday, Feb. 19th.

Friday, February 19
     ~ The Valentine's Party will be at 2:00. Please contact Angie Barwick or Cindy Whitesides if you have questions.

Your child's Progress Report will go home in the Friday Folder this week. Please sign and return it in the folder on Wednesday, February 17th.
