Our Fall Fundraiser Kick-Off is tomorrow morning. You should receive your child's packet today or tomorrow. This year, we will once again have a NEW collectible prize, A PENGUIN! The penguin will be worn on a lanyard given to the children when they are earned.
So, how can the children earn Penguins?
· They will receive 1 SPECIAL PENGUIN for every postcard booklet turned in only on Wednesday, August 29nd 2012 (1st turn in day). They will also receive a Penguin for sending 10 emails through the QSP site.
· For every magazine turned in, they will receive 1 PENGUIN per prize level. For example, if they turn in 8 magazines, they will receive 4 PENGUINS.
· For every 2 magazine sales ONLINE your child will have a chance to win a FREE MONTH'S TUITION (up to $500).

Looking for smiling faces!
We are so excited about the new school year and the opportunity to get to know
you and your child! Please come to Orientation on Monday evening at 5:30 in Trojan Hall. We will hear from Dr. Riley and then it will be time to visit your classroom. Class rolls will be
posted by our doors. Also, we encourage you to bring your child's labeled school
supplies and help them get unpacked. We look forward to meeting you all on Monday!!!!

Hopefully, you aren't already hearing, "I'm bored!" However, if you are, there were a few websites/apps for students recommended by Instructor magazine that look good. Most are free, with the option of upgrades/more options for a fee:). Some are interesting, child-friendly information spots. Some are writing sites where students make their own stories.
