After delivering "Happy Fall" cards in October to the residents of Carlyle Place, the students were asked to participate in a coloring contest! Then the residents voted on their favorites. Well, several of our Carlyle Place friends came Wednesday afternoon to award prizes for the coloring contest. EVERYONE received a yummy treat and a special congratulations goes to Zayne and Ellie for winning the coloring contest!
We are looking forward to our Christmas project for the residents of Carlyle Place. We will be making lap blankets. We will need some extra hands the day we assemble them, so be on the lookout for an "I Can Help" form! On December 14, we will carol, deliver the blankets, and enjoy a special snack with the residents. Watch for a field trip form when we get back from Thanksgiving holidays.
