Penny War for the Orphans of
Our Own Home
in Africa

In chapel today, Mrs. Foxworth,
along with our Lower School Student council, shared an idea of how Tattnall
students could help the children of Our Own Home orphange in Uganda. Starting Monday,
Jan. 14 through Friday, Jan. 18, our elementary classes will have an all out
PENNY WAR! Each class will have a jar to fill full of pennies in competition
with the other homerooms. There is a catch....you bring pennies to count points
for your homeroom, BUT you can bring anything higher than a penny to place in
another homeroom's jar and it will be DEDUCTED from that class' total! Sounds
fun, huh? So let's shake our piggy banks and bring in our change so we can make
a change in the lives of these orphans!
