During the week of Homecoming, as a community service project, Elementary Student Council will collect used clothes, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes. Collection boxes will be placed on the elementary sidewalk.  As an incentive, each time a student brings in a donation, he/she will receive a ticket.  At the end of the week, student council will draw tickets for door prizes! Donated items will be distributed to families in the Pleasant Hill area of Macon by The Strong Tower Fellowship Mission.

The Band of Gold is selling Indian River Fruit to help raise funds for their Disney trip in March.  Orders may be placed with a Band of Gold member or in Mrs. Cheek’s office.  Orders will be taken through the end of October.  The fruit will be delivered the week before Thanksgiving break! These make great gifts for the holidays and are perfect for holiday cooking and eating as well!

A limited number of 2011-2012 yearbooks are still available for purchase.  See Ms. Dykes in Room 110 or Mrs. Cheek.  Books are $60.
