Our Thanksgiving Feast was a huge success! Thanks so much to the Room Moms who planned and set up for this event. All the food the parents sent was wonderful and we were stuffed! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Wow! What an outpouring of LOVE! We had a wonderful response to Operation Christmas Child boxes. The children especially enjoyed seeing the Chick-fil-A cows do a little "gangam style" dancing. Be sure to look on tattnall.org for pictures.
In your child's backpack today, you will find 2 forms. One is concerning the Art Fair on December 6 before the Christmas Musical. You may not know yet if you will attend the musical or not, but the Art Fair starts right after school. If you do not RSVP, your child's work will not be on display. To RSVP, please mark, "I will attend," sign it, and have your child return it on Monday after Thanksgiving.
The second form concerns Kids Yule Love. This is Tattnall's 25th year to support Kids Yule Love. The Trojan Spirit Shop is selling t-shirts to commemorate this landmark, with all proceeds going to Kids Yule Love. If you would like one of these shirts, please complete the form, attach your check, and return it to school with your child by Wednesday, November 28.
The Christmas Musical will be on Thursday, December 6. Students in grades 1-3 will be performing. Between 3:00 and the beginning of the musical, you may go to the Art Fair or to the Usborne Books display in the Media Center. Both are great places to pick up Christmas gifts!!
